The Divinity College bookstore is located at the Divinity College in Rm 217A. The bookstore is run by Bernice Quek and is called the READ On Bookstore. Bernice offers students a 20% discount on text books and can be contacted at books@readon.ca or at (416) 622-0655 x308. You can also fax her any orders/requests at (416) 622-2308. Bernice is at the College the first day of each summer school course and the first couple weeks of each semester during the academic year. For specific times, please call or e-mail Bernice.
If you are travelling a distance to pick up your books, it is best to contact the college to check on her hours.
Titles Bookstore services the entire McMaster University and Divinity College community. This is a large and well-stocked bookstore that features over 5000 textbooks and a over 40,000 scholarly books,, trade publications, and magazines covering a wide range of subjects.
The bookstore also carries a significant selection of merchandise for sale, such as greeting cards and stationery, and boasts a well-supplied computer centre where students and faculty can purchase a wide range of computer hardware and software, often at reduced educational prices. It also has a post office.
The Bookstore also runs a custom courseware service for instructors. Each instructor is able to submit their own materials—such as a collection of essays by various authors or their own manuscript—and the bookstore produces a bound paperback, which is available for sale to students.
Students can establish accounts at the Bookstore, and are entitled to a discount on purchases. The Bookstore is located in the lower level of Gilmour Hall on the University campus.
