When faculty have attained the rank of full Professor and have concluded their teaching careers at McMaster Divinity College, the College may wish to recognize their outstanding and continuing contributions to the life of the College and to the scholarly community at large. One way of honouring such an individual, and to provide for the continuation of that individual’s contributions, is to award the status of Professor Emeritus.
