Winter Div Days 2009

Here at MacDiv we invite prospective students to take the College for a test drive. We call it Div Days, and like a test drive, it’s your chance to get a hands-on feel for the College and experience life as a MacDiv student.

Like other Div Days participants, you may be wondering if seminary is the next step for you. Or, you know you are bound for seminary and now you’re trying to decide which school is the right fit. That’s why you’re invited to Div Days.

Join us on campus at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario for a full day or evening of orientation that includes personally meeting professors and students. This is your chance to ask questions and listen to the people that make up the College.

Div Days also give you the opportunity to be part of a class in session as well as tour the University campus. Participants are treated to a complimentary lunch or dinner as part of the Div Days experience.

Click the "Sign up for an upcoming Div Day now" link to register. We look forward to meeting you.

Attend Class
Since attending lectures is a big part of studying at MacDiv, we want you to experience
what you can expect as a student.

Attend Chapel
Depending on the day, you’re also invited to join staff, faculty and students in our weekly chapel service where we pause to worship God together as a body of believers.

Tour the Campus
Being a student is more than just studying, it’s being part of a community. Take a walk through our halls and around the campus. You’ll see for yourself how MacDiv is situated in the middle of the bustling McMaster University campus.

Who should attend Div Days?
• Prospective Students: If you have recently completed your undergraduate or are about to, Div Days is your opportunity to explore seminary as your next step in life.

• Family & Friends: Making academic decisions is never easy. There’s a lot to consider and that’s why we encourage you to bring along those people in your life whose opinion you value.

• Faith Leaders: If you regularly help people make decisions in their lives, Div Days offers you the chance to gather insight on a potential ministry direction for those you may know.

• Anyone interested in MacDiv: You may not be ready for full-time study, but if you value the role of seminary in the life of the church, Div Days opens its doors to you to get to know us at MacDiv.
