Program in Mission and Evangelism

Established in 1990 and underwritten by funds from the family of churches of the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec, the Program in Mission and Evangelism encourages the mission of the church through programs of study at the College, continuing education for clergy and laypersons, interaction with the wider Christian community and provision of resources to enable mission and evangelism.

At present, the McMaster Program in Mission and Evangelism provides courses and resources in several areas: evangelism, urban missions, small churches, local church assessment and strategic planning, outreach and world mission. Several faculty and adjunct personnel participate in the program and share its concern for the globalization of Christianity. Some of these courses are offered as part of our normally scheduled courses. Other events are organized periodically.
